Job summary

Quanta Power Solutions is seeking an Environmental Specialist III to coordinate and oversee environmental compliance, permitting, and management for power projects. You will support project teams across engineering, construction, and field operations, ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local environmental regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Natural Resources, or a related field is required.
• Five to eight years of progressive experience in environmental compliance, permitting, or related discipline.
• Experience coordinating environmental compliance activities for construction, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong project coordination, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate environmental compliance activities across power generation EPC projects.
• Interpret environmental regulations and permit conditions to determine project obligations.
• Monitor compliance with air quality, water quality, stormwater, waste management, and erosion controls.
• Develop mitigation strategies to reduce environmental impacts and schedule impacts.
• Lead or coordinate environmental permitting activities and track approvals.
• Review permit applications, technical reports, and environmental assessments.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams on inspections, reporting, and best practices.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and regulators to support project requirements.
