Job summary

Watson Marlow, part of the Spirax Group, is seeking a Senior Environment, Health and Safety Specialist in Harvard, MA. You will act as the day-to-day safety leader at the site level, driving a proactive safety culture and engaging with operations staff to implement improvements.

Reporting to the Head of Health and Safety for North America, you will contribute to safe, compliant operations and support ISO14001/45001 initiatives. This is a high-impact role within a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in health and safety within industrial manufacturing.
• Degree in Health and Safety or related field; ASP/CSP status preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to drive safety culture through engagement with operations staff.

Responsibilities

A pivotal and high-impact position has arisen for a Senior Environment, Health and Safety Specialist to join Watson Marlow (part of the FTSE 100 Spirax Group). Reporting directly to the Head of Health and Safety for North America, you will act as the day to day safety leader at the site level, and help to drive a proactive and engaged safety culture.

The successful Senior Environment, Health and Safety Specialist will:

• Bring at least 3+ years of H&S experience, ideally within industrial manufacturing or comparable environments.
• Ideally possess a Degree in Health and Safety or a related field, and either have or working towards ASP/CSP status.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of driving safety culture by engaging with operational staff, hearing their perspectives and collaboratively finding solutions.
• Exhibit an authentic leadership style with the ability to influence at all levels and create a strong "followership" across disparate teams.
• Ideally have experience with ISO14001 and/or ISO45001, if not this can be coached when in the role.

In return, the successful Senior Environment, Health and Safety Specialist will receive an attractive compensation package consisting of:

• Basic salary between $110,00 and $130,000.
• Annual bonus based on business objectives.
