As Senior Environmental Health and Safety Specialist you will be responsible for providing technical support on Environmental, Health and Safety programmes, and provide support to with relevant environmental, health and safety issues, reporting to EHS Lead. Previous start-up experience or Biotechnology Industrial experience would be desirable.
Degree in Science, Engineering and/or Health & Safety is required (Level 8). Postgraduate in Health & Safety as a minimum (Level 9).
8+ years related pharmaceutical/biosafety industry experience – is required and experience working within a regulatory environment is required. Demonstrate experience in managing EHS Teams either within the Department or as part of a program initiative. Leading Root Cause investigations.
Attention to detail and sound scientific problem solving will be fundamental to this role with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role in a manufacturing or process industry.
