Job summary

Job description

Job Description
  • Lead teams to design and deliver water treatment facilities and related water infrastructure, taking high‑level goals and converting them into detailed designs and construction documents.
  • Use process modeling, sign and seal construction drawings as engineer‑of‑record.
  • Have experience with progressive design‑build delivery as a plus.
  • Review draft designs and reports for compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and sign off on completed designs.
  • Ensure firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
  • Perform site reviews and studies as needed to ensure designs are aligned with location specifications; update design requirements as necessary.
  • Conduct water quality analyses and modeling.
  • Contribute to the firm’s Technical Knowledge Management by developing white papers, technical design documentation, and submitting these to technical journals.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to current and potential client requests for proposals (RFPs); review draft proposals for adherence to firm, industry, state, local, and federal regulations and best practices.
  • Meet with current and potential clients to review their design needs and provide updates to project management as required.
  • Attend conferences, symposia, and other events to promote the firm’s products and services in collaboration with sales staff.
  • Act as a point of contact for external clients and related industry contacts; collaborate with clients and government officials to clarify technical questions.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior staff to foster their development.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license.
  • 12 years of related experience.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required; travel frequency depends on specific duties and project demands.

Pay Range

USD $120,973.00 – $211,723.00.
