Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Environmental Engineer to lead remedial systems and assessments across multiple U.S. locations. You will design, coordinate field work, manage project tasks, and mentor junior staff while traveling up to 25% for field activities.

The role requires a BS in Environmental/Chemical/Civil Engineering, 5+ years of experience, and professional licensure or PE/engineering training. OSHA HAZWOPER training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and appropriate annual refresher certifications.
• Engineer-In-Training certification or Professional Engineering license.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental remedial systems and assessments with PM and senior staff guidance.
• Prepare startup plans and standard operating procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering design disciplines to produce cohesive documents.
• Delegate to junior staff to produce design drawings.
• Oversee field activities including site characterization and groundwater sampling.
• Assist with Remedial Investigation and Feasibility Study reports.
• Participate in client and regulatory agency meetings; travel up to 25%.
