Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer / Project Manager for a NJ-based civil & environmental engineering firm.

The ideal candidate will lead due diligence, assessments, NEPA analysis, Brownfields/VCC projects, and hazardous materials evaluations, while coordinating field testing and client delivery. Candidates should have a PE or PG certification, 10+ years of project management experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 10%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or related program
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG)
• 10+ years of environmental project management experience
• Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to travel (overnight travel ~10%)
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD, and Excel
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental due diligence, assessment, and risk analyses.
• Manage NEPA, Brownfields and UST projects.
• Conduct vapor intrusion assessments and hazardous materials evaluations.
• Oversee field testing and sampling methodologies.
• Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER

New Jersey based civil & environmental engineering firm is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join their team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or related program of study
• Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist
• 10+ years of environmental project management experience

• Must be able to travel as needed (overnight travel estimated at 10%)
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company’s driving (MVR) policy
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD, and Excel
• Expertise in field testing and sampling methodologies
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training

SALARY: $90-120K
