Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, or related program.
• Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist.
• 10+ years of environmental project management experience.
• Strong written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to travel as needed (overnight travel estimated at 10%).
• Pass drug screen, background check, and have satisfactory driving record.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS and/or AutoCAD, and Excel.
• Expertise in field testing and sampling methodologies.
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training.

Responsibilities

• Lead due diligence, assessment, and risk-based analyses.
• Manage NEPA, Brownfields/VCC contracts, USTs, vapor intrusion assessment and mitigation.
• Oversee hazardous materials evaluations and related environmental services.
• Drive project management and client communication to ensure timely delivery.

SENIOR ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER / PROJECT MANAGER

New Jersey based civil & environmental engineering firm is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to join their team.
