Job summary

Enterprise Products seeks a Senior Environmental Engineer in Mont Belvieu, TX to oversee day-to-day environmental compliance for facilities. You will partner with Operations to implement procedures and drive improvements in regulatory programs.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in oil & gas env compliance, knowledge of Title V, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 10% and the ability to work independently are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in oil & gas environmental compliance required.
• Air (Title V) implementation experience preferred.
• Storm Water and Waste Water management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily.
• Up to 10% travel may apply.
• Physically able to walk across terrain to response sites.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day environmental compliance for assigned facilities and operations.
• Support Operations to ensure consistent implementation of environmental procedures.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement waste minimization strategies.
• Be the "customer service" link to operations.
• Provide input to EHS&T staff to improve procedures and practices.
• Prepare routine environmental reports (NSPS, MACT, etc.).
• Ensure each site is inspection-ready and assist with agency inspections.
• Manage environmental contractors as required.
• Respond to emergencies/spills and manage short-term remediation projects.
