Job summary

Enterprise Products is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer to oversee day-to-day environmental compliance for its facilities and operations. You will partner with Operations to ensure consistent implementation of environmental procedures and respond to incidents as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 10+ years in oil and gas regulatory compliance, and experience with Title V, storm water, and waste water programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or related field preferred.
• 10+ years in oil and gas with environmental regulatory compliance required.
• 10+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Air (Title V) implementation experience preferred.
• Storm Water and Waste Water management experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, oral and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily.
• Physical ability to walk to response sites.
• Self-management and ability to work independently.
• Identify applicable regulatory requirements for work area.
• Up to 10% travel may apply.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day environmental compliance for facilities and operations.
• Support Operations to ensure consistency of environmental procedures.
• Identify and investigate improvement opportunities.
• Serve as the customer service link to operations.
• Implement corporate EHS&T directives.
• Share internal best practices with assigned personnel.
• Provide input to EHS&T staff to improve procedures.
• Prepare routine environmental reports (e.g., NSPS, MACT).
• Ensure sites are inspection-ready and attend agency inspections.
• Implement waste minimization strategies.
• Respond to emergencies/spills.
• Manage short-term remediation projects.
• Manage environmental contractors as required.
