Dewberry is currently seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer for our Parsippany, NJ office. This senior professional will perform various environmental tasks in support of remediation projects, including developing long-term remedial solutions and strategies to reduce environmental risk. Projects are mainly located in New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania; the role also supports other Dewberry offices in the U.S. Responsibilities include site/remedial investigation, remedial project design, and implementation of remedial actions according to regulatory agency and/or company directives.
The Senior Environmental Engineer must be flexible, client-focused, and capable of working independently while supporting a team of engineers, scientists, and field personnel. The work involves a range of activities from coordinating field inspections and soil/groundwater sampling to technical tasks requiring strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Adobe Acrobat. Current OSHA 40-hour certification and/or other relevant certifications are preferred. A New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) license is required.
