Job summary

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) within the Department of Homeland Security is seeking a GS-15 level Energy and Environmental Program Manager for the Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM), Integrated Services Division (IS), Energy and Environmental Program Management Office (EE PMO) in the Washington, DC area or other designated locations.

The role oversees energy and environmental programs, policies, and regulatory compliance across facilities and related lifecycles.

Qualifications

Experience managing energy, environmental, sustainability, resilience, or compliance programs.
Coordinating with senior leaders, field offices, or external partners to implement requirements.
Developing work plans, schedules, and actions to meet goals.
Reviewing data and performance to identify issues and needed actions.
Leading supervisors and staff by assigning work and improving performance.

Responsibilities

Serve as agency representative for energy and environmental management programs.
Develop and administer policies supporting environmental and energy compliance.
Coordinate with officials on environmental/energy matters affecting operations.
Direct subordinate supervisors and staff performing technical and administrative work.
