Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced Environmental Engineer (Level 5) with a strong emphasis on cost estimating to support complex remediation and civil projects. You will lead the development of detailed cost estimates across all project phases.

You will utilize MCACES MII and advanced Excel-based models, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support value engineering, risk analysis, and cost tracking through construction.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing cost estimates across planning, design, and construction phases.
• Strong knowledge of CERCLA, RCRA, and environmental remediation processes.
• Proficiency with cost estimating tools (MCACES MII) and advanced Excel models.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of detailed cost estimates for environmental remediation and civil projects.
• Develop estimates during feasibility studies and for project authorization and bid evaluations.
• Provide cost risk analysis, assumptions documentation, and estimate validation.
