Ladders is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to guide a team delivering environmental engineering work with a focus on quality and regulatory compliance. The role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management, performance feedback, and team development.

Location: Remote - US-based candidates only. Compensation: $117,000 – $191,000 annually. The team supports planning, modeling, design, and management deliverables while keeping commitments on schedule and within scope.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of 8 years of related work experience in environmental engineering or a related field.
• Certified in the SMS Framework and progressing through SMS competencies.
• Broad knowledge of environmental engineering principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the work efforts of a team in environmental engineering.
• Assign, prioritize, and review technical work to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance for analysis, modeling, planning, and design activities.
• Support development of management plans and engineering deliverables.
• Conduct performance appraisals and support hiring and development activities.
• Ensure project commitments are met through effective coordination of resources and schedules.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team with established expectations and feedback.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will guide a team delivering environmental engineering work with a strong emphasis on quality, regulatory compliance, and effective technical execution. The position will partner closely with project teams to support planning, modeling, design, and management deliverables while helping keep commitments on schedule and within scope. It also combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, performance feedback, and team development.
