Job summary

Dexian is seeking an experienced environmental construction project manager in Martinez, CA to lead complex projects for federal clients. You will manage technical and craft personnel, develop baseline budgets and schedules, and review plans to support proposals and cost tracking.

You will forecast work and report status to leadership. A Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience are required, with proven leadership in bidding and executing projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years of industry-related experience.
• Proven leadership in bidding and executing environmental construction projects.
• Experience managing projects for federal clients (USACE/DoD or other federal agencies).
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with proposal/submittal involvement.
• Ability to interact with clients, regulatory agencies, field ops, staff and subcontractors.
• MS Word Office Suite proficiency.
• Current 40hr HAZWOPER or 8hr Refresher certification.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental construction projects, including technical and craft personnel.
• Develop and maintain baseline budgets and schedules for assigned projects.
• Cost estimating and review of project plans to support proposals; schedule using MS Project and cost tracking tools.
• Author technical approaches, work planning and completion reports.
• Forecast project work on existing contracts.
• Report to supervisor on project status.
• Review project operations to meet schedules, scopes and budgets.
• Supervise employees and oversee staff development.
• Prepare budgets and negotiate contracts.
