Job summary

Dexian is seeking an Environmental Project Manager in Martinez, CA to lead environmental remediation and civil construction projects onsite. You will manage schedules, budgets, field operations, and client relationships while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in environmental remediation, federal contracting, and project execution, with hands-on leadership across multiple projects and a focus on safety and quality. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of environmental remediation, environmental construction, or related project management experience.
  • Experience managing environmental construction and remediation projects.
  • Proven experience managing project budgets, schedules, and field operations.
  • Experience working with federal clients such as USACE, DoD, EPA, NAVFAC, or similar agencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience preparing project proposals, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project.
  • Current 40-Hour HAZWOPER Certification or 8-Hour Refresher Certification.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%-50% as required.

  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Manage contract execution, change orders, and project closeout documentation.
  • Conduct project status reviews and provide regular updates to leadership.
  • Support business development efforts through proposal preparation and cost estimating.
  • Ensure adherence to environmental regulations, quality standards, and company safety programs.

Job Description:

A growing environmental and construction services organization is seeking an experienced Environmental Project Manager to lead environmental remediation and civil construction projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on Environmental Project Manager with extensive experience leading environmental remediation and construction projects for federal clients. They possess strong project controls, budgeting, scheduling, and field management experience while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. Candidates with USACE, DoD, NAVFAC, or federal environmental contracting experience and professional certifications such as PMP, CCM, or PE will be highly preferred.
