Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Juris Doctorate preferred.
• 10 years of commercial claims experience including high complexity exposure
• Experience in environmental, toxic tort, and construction defect claims
• Ability to lead discussions and communicate results to a non-technical audience
• Travel up to 20% overnight

Responsibilities

• Directly handle a portfolio of high complexity environmental, toxic tort, and construction defect claims across multiple jurisdictions.
• Build strong relationships with agents and policyholders with thorough file documentation.
• Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Influence outcomes by developing action plans and pursuing early resolution when appropriate.
• Provide oversight and guidance for high severity/high complexity claims, including mediations and trials.
