Job summary

Alliance Technical Group is seeking an Environmental Compliance Specialist II in Milwaukee, WI. The role blends office and field work, focusing on managing projects across air, water, and waste programs while building client relationships.

The candidate will lead project initiation through completion, supervise field activities, and provide technical guidance. Requires 5+ years’ environmental experience and knowledge of major regulations; salary range shown is fixed by the posting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional environmental experience in consulting, industry, or regulatory setting.
• Experience supporting environmental compliance, permitting, monitoring, or related activities.
• Understanding of environmental regulations such as CAA, CWA, RCRA and EPCRA.

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental projects from kickoff to closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Perform environmental fieldwork, inspections, monitoring, or sampling as required.
• Prepare and review environmental reports, memos, and permit documentation.
• Support compliance, permitting, assessment, or monitoring activities.
• Collect and analyze environmental data to support deliverables and decision-making.
• Maintain project documentation and records for audits and quality control.
• Coordinate with project managers, staff, and clients to ensure project execution.
• Communicate with regulatory agencies or stakeholders to support permitting and reporting.
