Job summary

The Senior Environmental Specialist position in Arizona focuses on providing advanced technical leadership and environmental compliance oversight for the project. It ensures adherence to local, state, and federal regulations while supporting development, construction, and operational activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field and 6+ years of compliance experience.
• Experience managing environmental programs and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to pass background checks and to meet insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permits.
• Provide technical leadership on environmental compliance, permitting, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain environmental procedures, plans, and programs for permit compliance.
• Lead environmental audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking.
• Support data systems and reporting, including EMS and environmental data management.
• Mentor staff and collaborate with operations, construction, and management teams.
