Job summary

Job Description

***Direct experience with PFAS testing is a requirement to be considered for this role***

The ideal candidate would possess the following skills:

  • Perform physical, chemical, and instrumental analysis of medical device products
  • Run the instrumentation independently including, but not limited to, various chromatographic systems (HPLC, IC & GC), UV/Spec, various wet chemistry analyses, FT-IR, ICP, DSC and dissolution apparatus
  • Consult with clients to understand their testing needs
  • Develop and adapt specialized PFAS testing for client specific projects
  • Preparing samples for analysis and running instrumentation with minimum supervision
  • Set up and validate new analytical or related processes used by the department
  • Prepare standards and samples for analysis
  • Execute method transfer protocols
  • Document work as required for GMP compliance
  • Perform monthly maintenance of laboratory equipment

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in chemistry, biochemistry, or related degree concentration
  • 3 years of industry experience using chromatography in an Environmental or cGMP environment
  • 3 years of industry experience with PFAS testing or characterization
  • Experience operating CIC and HPLC systems.
  • Experience with Solid Phase Extraction
  • Experience with ISO 10993 and/or ISO 18562 testing
  • Experience in a cGMP, GLP, and/or ISO 17025 compliant/accredited lab.
  • Experience with method development and validation
  • Polymeric and/or PFAS experience/education
  • Authorization to work in the US without immediate or future sponsorship.

Additional Information

This position is full-time, working (Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm), overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
