Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking an Environmental Analyst III/IV to design and administer environmental programs, conduct studies, and support permit applications across multiple facilities. The position offers a hybrid work model with on-site presence as needed, and a clear path for progression to higher levels based on experience and performance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in environmental science, engineering, applied science, or related fields and four years of professional environmental work experience.
• Associate degree plus three years progressive responsibilities may substitute for education.
• MS/MA/MBA = 2 years substitute for education requirement; PhD/JD = 3 years substitute.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops environmental procedures and programs to minimize deficiencies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develops and administers studies and monitoring programs for permit applications and regulatory reports.
• Prepares technical reports and permit applications from data interpretation and regulations.
