Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental, physical or biological sciences, engineering, or a related Environmental, Health and Safety field.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in relevant environmental applications.
• Ability to comprehend diverse regulatory, scientific and technical issues.
• Ability to connect with employees, management, regulatory agencies, consultants, contractors, and those served.
• Ability to coordinate and write clear documents for various audiences.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate environmental consulting professionals or service providers.
• Ability to meet critical project and program deadlines.
• Flexibility to work outside typical business hours or extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental reviews, surveys, and permitting for maintenance and capital projects.
• Establish regulatory compliance systems and develop procedures.
• Provide mentorship and written resources or support materials.
• Support, advise, and assist Engineering, Construction Services, Business Development, Law, and other teams.
• Develop and coordinate environmental awareness, training, and outreach efforts.
