Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Senior Entra ID Integration Engineer to lead architecture, engineering, and operations of enterprise Microsoft Entra ID across a distributed federal IT environment. Primary work at client site in Washington, DC with approved remote options.

The role demands hands-on expertise in Entra ID tenant administration, conditional access, PIM, Identity Protection, and governance, ensuring least-privilege access and Zero Trust, compliance with NIST/FedRAMP

Qualifications

Seven years of hands-on IAM engineering experience, with at least four years in Microsoft Entra ID in an enterprise environment.
Experience designing and implementing enterprise Conditional Access policy frameworks, including risk-based access policies, device compliance integration, and phishing-resistant MFA enforcement.
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID Privileged Identity Management (PIM), just-in-time access provisioning, approval workflows, and access review campaigns.
Experience supporting identity and access management activities in a federal government IT contracting environment, with familiarity with Federal cybersecurity compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

Provide senior technical leadership as the program's authority for Entra ID platform capabilities, guiding architecture, engineering, and governance decisions.
Lead design and architecture of enterprise Entra ID solutions, including CA, PIM, Identity Protection, and ENtra ID Governance aligned with Zero Trust.
Develop and maintain Entra ID architecture documentation, topology diagrams, and platform baselines.
Conduct identity architecture reviews for new systems, cloud migrations, and infrastructure changes to maintain Zero Trust posture.
Design and implement Zero Trust identity architectures using Entra ID capabilities and continuous access evaluation.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure consistent application of identity engineering best practices across the team.
