Job summary

University of Louisville is seeking an experienced software professional to provide high-level programming and technical direction for its enterprise systems development initiatives on Belknap Campus.

You will lead medium to large projects, design and document complex solutions, and maintain proactive communication with internal and external customers. The role emphasizes project planning, team mentoring, and driving process improvements across enterprise programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field and eight (8) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong programming and technical direction for enterprise systems development initiatives.
• Ability to communicate proactively with internal and external customers.
• Experience in planning, estimating, and coordinating project phases with limited supervision.
• Experience participating in enterprise project programming teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support in operational and team activities including coaching and mentoring.
• Manage project planning, estimating, task assignment, and progress tracking; coordinate with customers.
• Perform programming and analysis tasks: requirements definition, design, coding, testing, and documentation.
• Serve as a technical resource and mentor others to establish attainable goals.
• Ensure automated business processes are maintained and upgraded as needed.
