Upturn Co. is seeking a System Administrator to manage enterprise IT systems, ensuring availability, performance, and security of Windows and Linux servers. You will collaborate with network, security, and application teams to maintain a stable infrastructure and support critical operations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, patch management, backup strategies, and comprehensive documentation to meet IT policies and government standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum seven years of experience administering enterprise IT systems and infrastructure.
• Experience supporting production environments in medium to large organizations or government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain enterprise operating systems and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability to ensure continuous operations.
• Manage Active Directory environments, including user accounts, group policies, and permissions.
• Perform system patch management, updates, and hardening activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues and service disruptions.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
• Support system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure modernization.
• Collaborate with network, security, and application teams for integration.
• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity requirements, and standards.
