Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Enterprise Storage Engineer in Alabama to manage multi-vendor storage platforms, optimize performance, and participate in lifecycle management across procurement, upgrades, and decommissioning. The role requires hands-on expertise with NetApp, EMC, Pure, and HPE, plus strong knowledge of SAN/NAS protocols.

You will implement monitoring and reporting, design performance testing strategies, and collaborate with infrastructure, application, and architecture teams

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise storage engineering.
• Familiar with capacity planning and performance analysis.
• Hands-on with major storage platforms (NetApp, EMC, Pure, HPE).

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise storage platforms and ensure performance.
• Lifecycle management including procurement and decommissioning.
• Design monitoring, thresholds, and dashboards.
• Lead root cause analysis for performance issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and architecture teams.
• Ensure data governance and regulatory compliance.
