Job summary

Belcan LLC is seeking a Storage Administrator to operate and optimize enterprise storage across SAN, NAS, and object platforms. You will ensure data availability, integrity, and performance for mission‑critical apps, coordinating with VMware and database teams.

The role requires 3–8 years in storage, multi‑vendor experience, and strong troubleshooting; expect on‑call duties and a focus on fault isolation, capacity planning, and DR readiness.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in enterprise storage administration.
• Hands‑on with at least two major storage vendors.
• Experience in virtualized and cloud-integrated environments.
• SAN/NAS expertise including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB.
• Knowledge of storage replication, snapshots, deduplication, and tiering.
• Familiarity with Brocade/Cisco SAN switches and VMware storage concepts.

Responsibilities

• Storage provisioning across SAN/NAS and quotas.
• Monitor performance, capacity, health of storage arrays.
• Backup verification, snapshot management, replication checks.
• Coordinate with VMware, Compute, and Database teams.
• Automation and scripting to provisioning and reporting.
• Documentation of diagrams, SOPs, and configuration records.
• On‑call rotations and after‑hours support as needed.
