The Hertz Corporation is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead enterprise architecture activities and guide the development of a portfolio of solutions across applications, data, and platforms.

You will translate business strategies into scalable, secure blueprints, partner with executives and engineering teams, and drive modernization initiatives including cloud adoption and governance across the tech landscape.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in enterprise architecture and related domains.
• Ability to define strategies, roadmaps, and blueprints aligned to business goals.
• Deep cloud-native and distributed architectures with Azure, Java, .NET, Python.
• Experience leading Agile, DevOps, and product-centric teams.
• Strong governance and architecture discipline across multiple domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise solution architecture translating strategies into scalable blueprints.
• Partner with executives and teams to define architecture roadmaps.
• Design end-to-end solutions across apps, data, integrations, and infra.
• Drive modernization by addressing debt and enabling cloud transformations.
• Evaluate new tech and vendor solutions to improve agility.
• Provide governance through reference architectures and design patterns.
• Lead architecture for cross-functional programs through lifecycle.
• Develop current-to-future roadmaps for capability growth.
• Advise executives, product teams, and partners on architecture decisions.
• Foster communities of practice and promote best practices.
