Job summary

Allwyn Corp is seeking a Solution Architect to ensure applications and servers are built with best practices, reusability, and alignment to Enterprise Architecture goals across IT programs. The role requires strategic and tactical thinking and includes presenting to the Enterprise Architecture Review Council to gain approval from all IT areas.

The incumbent will act as a Change Agent, driving adoption of modern technologies, and will contribute across enterprise initiatives with experience

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
• 8–15 years of experience in multiple IT areas and 5–7 years of relevant technology architecture experience
• Excellent Verbal and Written skills

Responsibilities

• Meet and present to the Enterprise Architecture Review Council to gain approval and advice from all areas of IT to ensure sustainable services and applications are created.
• Role acts as a Change Agent who challenges the status quo and helps teams embrace improved methods and newer technologies.

Skills/Experience:
The Solution Architect ensures applications and servers are built with best practices, reusability, and an understanding of how to use technology to best meet business needs. The role mirrors client's commitment to provide support to ensure projects are designed and built to support the Enterprise Architecture. The Solution Architect demonstrates the ability to think and operate on both the strategic and tactical levels (e.g. He/she is able to devise a short-term solution that complements the longer term goals). He/she serves as a Change Agent who effectively challenges the status quo and helps the team embrace improved methods and newer technologies.

He/she will be responsible for meeting and presenting to the Enterprise Architecture Review Council to gain approval and advice from all areas of IT to ensure sustainable services and applications are created.

Required Skills:

• Bachelors degree, specialized training, or equivalent work experience

• Requires eight to fifteen years of experience in multiple IT areas and five to seven years of relevant technology architecture experience

• Excellent Verbal and Written skills

Desired Skills:

• Solution Architect for two or more large-scale, heterogeneous IT programs.

• Demonstrated success at developing solutions that solve business problems

• Demonstrated experience in the design and implementation of an SOA and Services in an enterprise setting
