Job summary

Canadian Pacific Kansas City seeks an experienced Solution Architect to design and advance enterprise technology solutions. You will lead architecture across applications, integrations, and digital platforms, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready systems.

The role partners with senior leaders to define transformation roadmaps, driving value through modern architectures and innovative technologies. A strong background in AWS and event-driven patterns is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Science, or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years of IT consulting/solution architecture experience with cloud/hybrid solutions (AWS)
• Experience leading business transformation, modern application development, and customer experience platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Event-Driven Architecture technologies like Apache Kafka, AWS EventBridge, and AWS SNS
• Familiarity with AWS AI/ML services (SageMaker, Bedrock, Claude) and design-thinking collaboration

• Provide solution architecture leadership to cross-functional teams
• Lead architecture, integration, and management of end-to-end applications and APIs
• Design modern customer experiences and scalable front-to-back frameworks
• Decompose business challenges and propose innovative technology solutions
