Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced software leader to define objectives and coordinate the development of enterprise-wide applications.

You will oversee end-user, system-level, and data management software efforts while shaping long-range plans and ensuring secure, scalable deployments. The role requires strong communication, executive-level collaboration, and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, information systems or related field with progressive software development experience.
• Leadership demonstrated by directing/developing solutions to highly technical problems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define technical objectives for user requirements and plan enterprise software development.
• Oversee end-user, system-level, and data management applications.
• Guide long-range plans for software solutions including language, platform, resources, testing, and docs.
• Lead deployment of cross-platform enterprise applications and ensure resource availability.
• Represent the project publicly as spokesperson and advise management and customers on software matters.
