Qualifications

• 10+ years of architecture and transformation experience across current-state and target-state architectures.
• 10+ years leading consulting engagements, technical workstreams, or cybersecurity transformation programs.
• 10+ years turning ambiguous problems into practical capabilities and measurable delivery results.
• 5+ years in threat detection and response, including SOC models, XDR/SIEM, and incident response.
• 5+ years in detection engineering, detection-as-code, and content governance.
• 5+ years in telemetry, data engineering, logging strategy, and ETL workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute vision and standards for threat detection and response aligned to client risk and outcomes.
• Develop reusable methods, reference architectures, playbooks, and accelerators across detection, telemetry, and response.
• Coach cybersecurity practitioners and emerging consultants to deliver rigorous, practical solutions.
• Lead engagements from problem definition through architecture, roadmap, and executive readouts.
• Assess and define target-state detection capabilities to improve visibility, triage, and response.
• Design detection engineering approaches including use-case development, testing, tuning, and governance.
• Develop endpoint security and telemetry strategies, including ETL, data quality, and pipeline resilience.
• Translate complex technical issues into concise executive recommendations.
• Facilitate workshops with cybersecurity, IT, cloud, identity, and business stakeholders.
• Explore AI/ML, generative AI, and agentic capabilities to improve detection and response.
