Qualifications

10+ years of architecture and transformation experience.
10+ years leading consulting engagements or cybersecurity transformation programs for complex organizations.
10+ years turning ambiguous problems into practical capabilities and measurable delivery results.
5+ years in threat detection and response, including detection strategy, use-case engineering, SOC operating models, or metrics.
5+ years in detection engineering, including detection lifecycle, rule development, testing, and governance.
5+ years in endpoint and identity, including EDR/XDR and identity-aware detection.
2+ years of experience in AI for cybersecurity, including AI/ML fundamentals and responsible automation.

Responsibilities

Execute the vision, priorities, and delivery standards for the threat detection and response capability, aligned to client risk and market needs.
Build and maintain reusable methods, reference architectures, playbooks, accelerators, and points of view across detection engineering, endpoint, telemetry, and response.
Coach and develop cybersecurity practitioners, leads, and consultants, fostering technical rigor and clear communication.
Lead or oversee cybersecurity engagements from problem definition through architecture, roadmap, implementation support, and executive readout.
Assess current-state detection and response capabilities and define target states that improve visibility, triage, and response.
Design detection engineering approaches including use-case development, content governance, testing, tuning, and ATT&CK-informed coverage.
Translate complex technical issues into concise recommendations for executives and engineering teams.
Facilitate workshops bringing together cybersecurity, IT, cloud, and business stakeholders.
