Job summary

Apex - Satellite Platforms in Los Angeles is seeking an Enterprise Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure architectures across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.

You will lead security strategy, risk assessments, and compliance with standards such as NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, and SOC 2, while guiding cross-functional teams to embed security into engineering practices and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field required or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with business strategies.
• Develop secure architectures for cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Lead deployment and integration of security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, EDR/XDR, IAM).
• Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, and security audits.
• Mentor engineers and present security recommendations to leadership.
