Job summary

Apex is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure enterprise architectures across cloud and on-prem environments. You will drive security strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance initiatives while protecting information assets.

The role blends deep technical security expertise with business acumen to deliver secure, compliant solutions and guide incident response and resilience planning.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in cybersecurity or related IT disciplines.
• 3–5+ years designing security architectures or leading engineering initiatives.
• Experience implementing enterprise security controls and frameworks.
• Experience securing cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise cybersecurity architecture aligned with business strategies.
• Develop secure architectures for cloud, on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments.
• Create security standards and technical design documents.
• Perform threat modeling and security architecture reviews for new systems.
• Lead deployment and integration of security technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, EDR/XDR, IAM).
• Automate security processes using scripting and IaC.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, and compliance teams to embed security.
