Job summary

First-Bank is seeking a senior risk professional to join the Enterprise Risk Management group in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational, technology, reputational, strategic, financial, and legal risks across the bank, reporting to the ERM Officer.

The position will lead process mapping, controls testing, and risk program enhancements while coordinating with business units and the GRC platform.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• 6+ years in risk and/or compliance.
• Experience with testing technical controls in financial institutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate process mapping activities to document end-to-end workflows, identify key risks and controls, and support continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement the bank's risk management framework in collaboration with ERM stakeholders.
• Perform independent control testing activities and document results.
• Establish and maintain relationships during testing engagements with business partners and second line SME's.
