Job summary

Perplexity in San Francisco is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own the design of our enterprise product. You will craft 0→1 experiences that balance enterprise realities with innovative AI, benefiting both enterprise and multiplayer use cases across the product.

You will work closely with product, engineering, and the broader design team to ship features end-to-end, while ensuring usability and a memorable brand experience that scales globally.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in design.
• Strong visual, UI, and interaction skills.
• Experience designing enterprise or large-scale products.

Responsibilities

• Design net-new, 0→1 enterprise surfaces across enterprise and general multiplayer use cases.
• Design for the realities of enterprise software: organizational management, seat management, admin controls, permissions, privacy, security, and compliance.
• Craft deeply nuanced role-based experiences that adapt to workplace policy and different levels of access and responsibility.
• Ship features that balance established UI paradigms with novel AI applications.
• Make software that feels like the future but usable by anyone today.
• Work independently and strategically — identify problems and craft solutions.
• Own end-to-end design from 0→1 through large-scale optimization.
• Contribute to process so we're always shipping changes you're proud of.
• Partner with brand design to ensure the product is useful and memorable.
