Job summary

Replit is seeking a Software Engineer for its Enterprise Platform to design deployment, networking, and policy enforcement that support large organizations. You will work across cloud infrastructure and security teams to deliver scalable, compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in infra/platform roles, strong Kubernetes and IaC experience, and a focus on security, reliability, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Infrastructure/Platform Engineering or similar roles.
• Proficient in Go/TypeScript/Python with well-tested code.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native tech.
• Strong cloud networking knowledge (VPC, peering, private connectivity).
• IaC experience with Terraform; familiar with CI/CD pipelines.
• Authentication/authorization expertise (OAuth/OIDC, RBAC/ABAC).
• Security basics: TLS, encryption at rest, key management.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement deployment options (single-tenant and dedicated).
• Build private networking capabilities (VPC peering, private connectivity).
• Design authorization services and policy enforcement.
• Ship data protection features (BYOK, CMEK) and data residency controls.
• Develop infrastructure automation with Terraform across regions.
• Debug and harden systems across Kubernetes and cloud services.
• Partner with Sales/Customer Success to scope requirements.
• Contribute to technical strategy; define SLAs/SLOs.
