Job summary

Replit is seeking a Staff Infrastructure Engineer to scale reliability of our platform used by millions of developers. You will bridge development and operations, automating workflows and setting best practices for scalable, highly available systems.

You will design self-healing architectures, build robust monitoring, and mentor engineers to make reliability a core value at Replit. This role is based in Foster City, CA with in-office days.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in Infrastructure Engineering or similar roles.
• Strong programming skills in Python or Go and well-tested code.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and production services.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Proven monitoring/observability and incident management skills.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Architect and improve automation to reduce toil; manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Design self-healing systems and maintain reliable deployments.
• Tune performance and optimize cloud deployments across regions.
• Elevate developer experience with faster, safer delivery pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and promote reliability as a core value.
