Job summary

MAXIMUS seeks an experienced engineering leader to own the program's enterprise platforms, CRM/ERP, and DevSecOps lifecycle. You will drive architecture, modernization, and operations across Salesforce and Deltek Costpoint, aligning with security, compliance, and business goals.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and vendors, and collaborate with business leaders to deliver scalable, secure solutions while reducing technical debt and enabling program success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
12+ years of relevant professional experience.
Progressive experience in enterprise applications, CRM, ERP, software engineering, or platform engineering.
7+ years of technology leadership experience managing enterprise platforms, application portfolios, or technical teams.
Demonstrated experience leading enterprise application strategy, architecture, engineering, integration, modernization, and operations.
Strong knowledge of enterprise CRM and ERP platforms, preferably Salesforce and/or Deltek Costpoint.
Experience with enterprise architecture, APIs, integration, DevSecOps, CI/CD, testing, and release management.
Strong understanding of security, identity, data governance, risk, compliance, resilience, and lifecycle management.
Experience managing technology budgets, licensing, vendors, professional services, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

Own technical risk management for the program, including architectural, security, performance, and integration risks.
Ensure engineering processes support high reliability, security, scalability, and maintainability.
Provide escalation and resolution for complex technical issues impacting cost, schedule, or mission success.
Serve as the overall technical authority for the contract or program, responsible for the integrity, feasibility, and quality of all engineering solutions.
Lead technical decision making for scope changes, tradeoffs, risk mitigation, and issue resolution throughout the program lifecycle.
Work directly with the Program Manager to document how scope changes impact contractual delivery; ensure clear and concise communications between all impacted stakeholders.
Act as the senior technical interface with Program customers, supporting design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and executive briefings.
Ensure tracking and transparency of technical work, schedule, reviews, and meetings.
Set expectations for technical rigor, documentation quality, and engineering discipline across the program team.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
