Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise network and security solutions for federal agency projects. You will work across routing, switching, security, and cloud connectivity to ensure performance, resilience, and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing and implementing medium to large-scale networks.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• MUST be a US citizen or permanent resident (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate enterprise network and network security solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across multi-layered environments.
• Analyze packet captures using Wireshark and tcpdump.
• Implement and manage solutions across vendors including Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, and F5.
• Support network security capabilities including firewalls, IPS, and secure remote access.
• Design and support SD-WAN and hybrid connectivity architectures.
• Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS).
• Support cloud connectivity solutions (AWS Transit Gateway, Azure ExpressRoute, Direct Connect).
• Develop scripts to automate tasks or enhance functionality.
• Use monitoring and logging tools for visibility and diagnostics.
• Test network solutions using industry tools.
• Create and maintain network diagrams and documentation.
