Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior network engineering leader to oversee the City’s enterprise network infrastructure in Topeka. You will administer critical Microsoft technologies (Active Directory, Exchange, SharePoint, Entra ID), and manage networking hardware, security, VPNs, and authentication systems.

You will also provide technical leadership, coaching and performance management for subordinate staff, with attention to CJIS background requirements and a valid Kansas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technology field required.
• Experience with enterprise Active Directory, Exchange and SharePoint environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, administration, monitoring, maintenance and provisioning of the City’s enterprise network infrastructure.
• Administer and maintain Microsoft technologies (AD, Exchange, SharePoint, Entra ID).
• Manage enterprise networking tech including switches/routers, firewalls, VPNs, and authentication systems.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching and performance management for staff.
