Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Senior Manager, Media Strategy & Planning to partner with Marketing leadership and agencies to develop enterprise media strategies that align with business objectives and customer priorities. The role leads investment planning, calendar management, scenario planning, and performance optimization across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4+ years of media planning/strategy experience
• Experience across traditional and digital media planning
• Experience leading teams and managing projects
• Budget management experience with scenarios and business cases
• Familiarity with Marketing Mix Modeling or multi-touch attribution tools
• Collaborative work with marketing, creative, measurement and analytics teams
• Executive interaction experience and ability to influence stakeholders
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise media strategies and planning frameworks across Walgreens' portfolio
• Lead annual media planning, segmentation, channel mix, flighting, and investment approaches
• Develop channel investment recommendations and partnerships including Upfront opportunities
• Oversee media calendar management and scenario planning to optimize performance
• Ensure consistency of media strategies across campaigns and drive cross-team alignment
• Monitor and report media investments with accurate budgeting and stewardship
• Collaborate with Analytics, Marketing Science, and agency teams on measurement and ROI
• Identify external partnerships and build frameworks/scorecards for growth opportunities
• Lead Diverse Investment and Multicultural planning across campaigns
• Mentor direct reports and foster an inclusive, high-performing team
