Job summary

Target is seeking a Sr. Business Partner Enterprise Item to optimize item operations, lead cross-functional initiatives, and uphold enterprise item standards.

You will partner with merchandising and core item teams to improve efficiency, data quality, and policy adherence while mitigating risks in a fast-paced setting. The role requires a 4-year degree and 3+ years in merchandising/inventory/supply chain, with strong communication and project leadership.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree.
• 3+ years of Merchandising, Inventory, Supply Chain.
• Strong presence, meeting management and facilitation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate with a diverse workforce at all levels and external vendors in a professional and thorough manner.
• Strong reasoning, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• High level of initiative.
• High level of organizational skills, detail oriented.
• Proven ability to successfully lead a project and execute upon initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with core item teams and merchandising partners to optimize efficiency and drive business capability by collaborating with core item, partner teams and item process.
• Ensuring adherence to Enterprise Item Policies and procedures with high standards for guest and data quality.
• Effective root cause problem solving, resolving emergencies and driving preventive solutions.
• Maximize Item Operations Business team resources advocating for proper alignment of priorities.
• Work with cross-functional partners to advise and advocate Item process and policies.
