Résumé du poste

AppFolio is seeking an Integrations & AI Architect to solve complex technical problems across its enterprise systems. This hands-on leadership role requires turning ambiguous problems into concrete designs, implementing solutions, and delivering production-ready capabilities.

The role covers enterprise applications, APIs, automation, data flows, cloud services, and emerging AI capabilities. You will shape shared patterns and standards across teams and guide solutions to scale in a multi-team

Qualifications

Strong systems thinking with the ability to reason through interactions, dependencies, failure modes, data flows, and long‑term architectural implications.
Hands‑on technical depth across APIs, integrations, events, data flows, distributed systems, and enterprise SaaS applications.
Software engineering or scripting experience with the ability to prototype, debug, inspect code, and contribute directly to technical implementations.

Responsabilités

Design and build cross-system solutions across enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, automation, cloud services, data, and AI.
Translate ambiguous business problems into pragmatic system designs with clear boundaries and data flows.
Evaluate tradeoffs on scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability; balance long-term architecture with delivery.
Build prototypes and POCs to validate approaches and reduce risk.
Collaborate with teams to investigate problems, validate designs, and guide implementation.
