Job summary

The Office of Financial Management (OFM) in Washington State is seeking three Senior Applications Developers to design, develop, and implement statewide enterprise applications and data integration solutions that support mission‑critical business functions across Washington State.

These positions lead the development of scalable, reusable, and extensible solutions that connect applications, data, platforms, and technologies across agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex enterprise applications and data integration across platforms.
• Advanced ETL and data integration for data warehouses and marts using Informatica/SSIS.
• Developing SOAP/REST services with XML/JSON, and API integration standards.
• Proficient SQL programming with scripting languages for automation and orchestration.
• Troubleshoot, root-cause analysis, code reviews, and production support.
• SDLC, source control, release/change management, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex data integrations and near-real-time data exchange.
• Develop code to integrate data between disparate applications and platforms.
• Create and maintain WSDLs, APIs, and web service integrations.
• Lead ETL development for Enterprise Data Warehouse and data marts.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Ensure deployments follow change management and release procedures.
