Job summary

Active Security Consulting LLC is seeking an Electronics Systems Engineer to design and document integrated electronic security systems for enterprise clients. You will serve as the technical authority for system architecture, configuration management, and QA throughout the project lifecycle.

You will provide pre- and post-sale design support to sales, installation, service, and maintenance teams, ensuring compliance with codes, customer requirements, and manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, IT, or related field preferred.
• Minimum seven years of experience related to the duties of this position required.
• Industry certifications in integrated security systems and network infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop system architecture, engineering designs and integration approaches for enterprise electronic security systems.
• Provide post-sale engineering support to installation, service and technician teams during commissioning.
• Program, configure, test, and validate security devices and system integrations.
• Examine hardware and software to locate and fix configuration problems per design specs.
• Evaluate new products and standards; recommend standardization and adoption.
• Train and provide technical guidance to teams across departments.
• Coordinate with leadership, manufacturer reps, and resources on complex challenges.
• Ensure all work meets codes, customer requirements and internal standards.
