Ladders is seeking an Expert Database Architect to join our client team as the highest-level technical authority for database architecture across accounts. You will shape enterprise database strategy, guide modernization and cloud transformation, and partner with executives, Solution Architects, and engineering teams to drive resilient, secure, and scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IS or related field.
• 10+ years in database architecture, engineering, administration, or enterprise data leadership.
• 7+ years leading enterprise-scale database modernization and transformation initiatives.
• Expert-level knowledge of cloud database services and experience with SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the highest-level technical authority for database architecture within assigned client accounts.
• Lead architecture strategy and roadmap development for enterprise database environments.
• Drive large-scale modernization, migration, and cloud transformation programs.
• Establish and maintain database architecture standards and best practices.
• Advise executive leadership on database strategy and technology investments.
• Architect resilient, secure, scalable, and automated database solutions.
• Mentor and develop Solution Architects and Engineering teams.
