Job summary

Shield AI is seeking a Sr. Manager, Enterprise Data to lead the delivery of data initiatives across the organization on Shield AI’s governed Databricks data platform.

You will guide data engineering, analytics, domain enablement, and governance functions to translate business strategy into durable data products. Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience across data disciplines.
• 3+ years leading and developing technical teams.
• Experience balancing priorities across multiple domains.
• Strong understanding of lakehouse concepts and data governance.
• Ability to translate business priorities into roadmaps.
• Experience partnering with stakeholders, software engineering, cloud/infrastructure, security, governance.
• Strong judgment in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Enterprise Data delivery team (Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, Domain Enablement, Data Governance).
• Establish delivery rhythms for planning, prioritization, capacity, roadmap tracking, dependency management.
• Turn data strategy into sequenced delivery plans across onboarding, integration, and governance.
• Partner with business leaders to shape intake, outcomes, and use-case prioritization.
• Ensure domain work is scoped and sequenced with durable data foundations.
• Coordinate delivery across engineering, governance, and architecture teams.
