Job summary

The University of Cincinnati is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to define, govern, and advance the university's data architecture. This hands-on leadership role covers data integration, modeling standards, metadata, and secure, scalable data products across ERP and administrative systems.

Strong collaboration with data engineering, analytics, governance, and IT leadership is essential to deliver reliable, reusable data solutions aligned with enterprise strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or related field; 7 years of relevant experience can substitute.
• Three years of related experience in data architecture or analytics.
• Experience with enterprise data modeling including data warehouse and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Define standards for enterprise data management, modeling, cleansing, and delivery.
• Serve as liaison between governance and data solution teams.
• Interpret data project sponsors and stakeholders.
• Understand data usage impact on people, processes, products and technology.
• Develop enterprise data management methodology and promote standards organization-wide.
• Drive metadata governance and data quality initiatives.
• Coordinate with ERP/SIS/CRM teams and security.
• Lead data architecture initiatives across major platforms and tools.
