Job summary

Peraton in Greenbelt, MD seeks an Enterprise IT Lead to establish and sustain program-wide cybersecurity governance across multiple security boundaries. You will provide authoritative direction for policy, risk management, compliance, and enterprise standardization while accommodating OT environments.

The role centralizes governance, reduces duplication of effort, and ensures alignment with agency expectations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Active Secret clearance is required.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Experience leading cybersecurity programs or enterprise security frameworks for NASA.
• Ability to access government worksite.
• Experience with cybersecurity risk management and security authorization processes.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse technical, operational, and management teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the program’s enterprise cybersecurity strategy and governance framework.
• Establish standardized cybersecurity policies, plans, and procedures across all systems and boundaries.
• Lead cybersecurity governance boards, compliance forums, and cross-functional decision-making bodies.
• Ensure program-wide adoption of approved security standards and coordinate implementation with system-level leaders.
• Provide oversight for cybersecurity activities while preserving local system ownership and mission decision‑making.
